The world sucks (or not)

While we were watching this, our guide, Marky McLlama, said: "The world sucks, huh?".

It made me think. He was absolutely right. I often hear people complaining about everything. From other drivers to meals in a restaurant, from the public health services to the government. Complaints, complaints and more complaints. Many time have I heard people saying "the world sucks" in a disgusting way, just like if everything was terrible, awful, unbearable.
Marky was extremely right when he was saying that same three words in front of the Uluru, the largest monolith on earth, witness of more than 400 million years of history, cauldron for the beliefs of the aboriginal people who lived there far before white people came and spoil it all. The world not only doesn't suck... it's actually absolutely amazing and beautiful.
